MOPHA Department of Georgia – 2026-2027

The MOPHA Department of Georgia is off to an exciting year with new leaders stepping into department and unit-level roles. The department's three active units—Augusta, Atlanta, and Columbus—continue to serve their communities through various events and activities.
​
This year, the department will host restaurant Spirit Nights across Georgia and an online Popcorn Sale to raise funds. Proceeds will support the Atlanta VA Medical Center, Augusta VA Medical Center, Plummer Home in Columbus, and help sponsor a child to attend Camp Corral.
​
Members are also participating in America’s 250th Birthday celebration through the “250 Ways to Honor Our Veterans” initiative, encouraging acts of appreciation and support for veterans throughout their communities.
As always, the Department remains committed to supporting veterans, promoting patriotism, fostering camaraderie, and welcoming new members to join its mission.
