Department of Georgia hosted its first ever Digital Convention
Through the years there have been a few versions of the official newsletter for the Department of Georgia. In 2013 then Department Commander Doug Middleton started the first online version of the newsletter. After his tenure, it fell to the wayside. With the suspension of the National Purple Heart Magazine, there became a greater need to reach out to the membership. Recognizing this, Department Commander John Flener created the new Georgia Purple Heart Newsletter/Magazine.
